This research is concerned with studying of the grammatical efforts of (Ahmed Fares Alshedyaq) one of the famous names in language, journalism and literature in the nineteenth century. The research concentrates on study of those efforts by going through one of his works (GhunyatAttaleb and MunyatArragheb) which he devoted to studying three arts. Morphology, grammar and rhetoric, This study has two purposes: First: This book combined a gist of the grammatical achievement of his work, and the most important options he preferred and the fundamentals on which he depended This shed light on an important aspect of the author's scientific character which was overlooked by most of the scholars who studied his grammatical legacy. Second: The material of this book was regarded by several writers of his biography as a school textbook, which was concerned with the educational aspect rather than the scientific aspect. Consequently, the researcher was compelled to study it and refute this idea, and confirm that this book combines both: the educational and the scientific aspects. It may be regarded as an indispensable reference for the beginner and the one who is specialized in grammar lesson.
