Abstract

Praise be to Allah ، Lord of the Worlds، and prayers and peace be upon Muhammad، his family and all his companions. After:  this research paper is entitled: The punishment of electronic espionage in light of Sharia and the law،It deals with the issue of electronic espionage، which is a serious crime that is accelerating and increasing in light of scientific and technological progress. This research included six sections preceded by an introduction and concluded with a conclusion in which it dealt with the most important results and recommendations of the research، The first section dealt with the concept of espionage linguistically and terminologically، the second section dealt with the concept of espionage in Sharia law، and in the third section it addressed the difference between espionage and sensing In the fourth section، the types of espionage and its effects were discussed. The fifth section dealt with the punishment of electronic espionage in Arab countries، and the Emirati and Saudi legislation was used as a model. As for the sixth and final section، it was devoted to dealing with ways to protect against and combat electronic crimes through advice، guidance، and preventive methods.
