The study adopted an analytical descriptive curriculum, which found several findings, including a statistically significant impact of delegation of authority and powers on dropout, a statistically significant effect of teamwork teams on dropout, a statistically significant effect of effective communication on dropout, and no statistically significant effect of motivation and encouragement on dropout. This study recommends that attention be paid to the subject of administrative empowerment and its dimensions, as it has a significant impact on improving the functioning and eliminating the dropout of university staff. Universities are keen to continue using task forces to complete work, solve problems, perform tasks, and deepen their concept and importance of task forces. They should pay attention to granting their employees more appropriate administrative powers and responsibilities to involve them in the preparation and formulation of the university's objectives and visions and encourage workers to make decisions about their work.
Bayan Nawar AL-Subeai, Fatimah Mohamed Mahdy Hassan Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejua.net/index.php/EJUA-HS/article/view/429 Mon, 31 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 SPATIAL ANALYSIS OF RELIGIOUS FUNCTION IN SHIRA DISTRICT (OLD CITY OF ADEN) https://ejua.net/index.php/EJUA-HS/article/view/430
This study aimed to provide a realistic picture of the religious function in the old city of Aden, and to identify and analyze the controls that shape this picture. To achieve this, the research procedures relied on collecting primary data related to the phenomenon from its sources in government agencies (Planning and Statistics Office - Awqaf Office) in the district and governorate. Additionally, interviews were conducted with specialists, followed by field observations to examine and document the phenomenon. The descriptive approach, with its scientific methodology, was used to interpret the data and controls related to the religious function, both quantitatively and qualitatively, in order to reach objective results that reflect the production of new maps for the distribution of religious uses in Aden city. The land use map is a distinctive feature in geographic research, especially in urban geography (Hall, 1992, p. 18). The study showed that the religious function is concentrated in the 2nd of March and Al-Salafi neighborhoods, for more than 50%. which are located in the central area between Wadi Al-Tawila and Wadi Al-Aydarus, and this confirms the strong relationship between water courses and the planning aspect of the central area, and the concentration of the religious function in particular, as well as its impact on the concentration of urban development in general.
Mohammed Abdrabboh Nasser Al-Nakhai Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejua.net/index.php/EJUA-HS/article/view/430 Mon, 31 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 POLITICAL CONFLICT IN PLAYWRIGHT MACBETH BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE https://ejua.net/index.php/EJUA-HS/article/view/431
This study examines the intersection of politics and literature by analyzing the political dimensions of William Shakespeare's Macbeth. The study investigates how Shakespeare portrays political characters in Macbeth, the reasons behind their representation the historical influences shaping his depiction of political figures and the political, cultural, religious, commercial, literary, and geographical contexts informing the play. The study employs a qualitative method. It applies discourse analysis, thematic analysis, and contextual analysis to examine political conflicts and ambitions within Macbeth. The findings suggest that the play critically engages with Scottish political issues, illustrating how unchecked ambition and political turmoil lead to moral corruption and instability. The study reveals that Shakespeare’s depiction of figures such as Duncan, Malcolm, and Macbeth reflect tensions surrounding monarchy, rebellion, and the sacred authority of kings. Additionally, the play serves as a broader commentary on the dangers of political instability. The analysis also underscores the cultural, religious, and geographical contexts that shaped Shakespeare’s political themes. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of Shakespeare’s engagement with political discourse and offers insights into the complexities of power, governance, and ambition.
Gamal Qasem Saleh Al-na'as Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejua.net/index.php/EJUA-HS/article/view/431 Mon, 31 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 EXPLORING THE CHALLENGES ENCOUNTERED BY SAUDI TRANSLATORS IN UTILIZING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR BUSINESS TRANSLATION https://ejua.net/index.php/EJUA-HS/article/view/432
This study explores the challenges encountered by Saudi translators in utilizing artificial intelligence (AI) for business translation. The study aims to achieve three key objectives: identifying the linguistic challenges Saudi translators encounter when using AI-based tools in business translation, examining the technical and functional difficulties associated with AI integration, and assessing the challenges in human-AI collaboration, particularly in post-editing and accuracy verification. A quantitative research methodology was employed, utilizing a structured questionnaire distributed to 40 Saudi translators. The questionnaire measured participants’ perceptions of AI translation tools across three categories: linguistic and terminological challenges, technical and functional difficulties, and human-AI collaboration obstacles. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, ANOVA tests, and correlation analysis to identify key trends and relationships between variables. The findings reveal that AI translation tools struggle with business-specific terminology, context-dependent meanings, and cultural adaptation, leading to frequent errors requiring extensive human post-editing. Additionally, technical inconsistencies and a lack of transparency in AI decision-making processes hinder effective workflow integration. The study also finds no significant differences in perceptions of AI translation challenges based on translators’ education levels, indicating that these issues are widely recognized across different expertise levels.
Sari Mohammad Almasharqa, Adel Mohammed Qadha Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejua.net/index.php/EJUA-HS/article/view/432 Mon, 31 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 EXTENT OF E-LEARNING USAGE IN PRIVATE SCHOOLS IN ADEN GOVERNORATE https://ejua.net/index.php/EJUA-HS/article/view/433
The study aim to investigate the extent of e-learning usage in private schools in Aden Governorate. The study used a questionnaire administered to 109 EFL learners at University of Lahej, and the results referred that applying e-learning to the English instruction encounters formidable obstacles. Some of them are weak Internet connection, high cost of the Internet, power cut and lack of knowledge about video conferencing tools, let alone there is a number of the learners who do not have the suitable devices to connect to the Internet. Besides, there is a little use of the social media applications to learn English. Accordingly, if e-learning has to be applied to the English instruction, it is recommended to use WhatsApp to share the multimedia messaging content with the learners as it is the most popular application used by them, while it is better to avoid synchronous online learning. Moreover, e-learning should be mixed with face-to-face learning to teach English more interactively, and language labs connected to the Internet should be available to those learners having no suitable devices.
Rauf Younis Ahmed Abdullah Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejua.net/index.php/EJUA-HS/article/view/434 Mon, 31 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000 Front Cover https://ejua.net/index.php/EJUA-HS/article/view/427 Abdulrahman Ahmed Mohren Copyright (c) 2025 https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://ejua.net/index.php/EJUA-HS/article/view/427 Mon, 31 Mar 2025 00:00:00 +0000
