Abstract

The study aim to investigate the extent of e-learning usage in private schools in Aden Governorate. The researcher employed a descriptive approach using a survey method, relying on a questionnaire as a data collection tool. The questionnaire consisted of 30 items distributed across four domains: e-learning methods, e-learning. Patterns, e- learning materials, and obstacles to e-learning. After ensuring the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, it was administered to a sample of 354 teachers selected using simple random sampling. The results showed that private schools occasionally use e-learning, with obstacles being a major hindrance to its adoption. the study found statistically differences according to the variable of years –of experience at the significance level of (α=0.05) in the combined domains of e-learning usage, favoring, teachers with 10 -20 years of experience furthermore, the study revealed statistically significance differences according to variable of gender at the significance level of (α=0.05) in the domain of obstacles to e-learning, favoring males. In light of the finding, the study recommends several suggestions.
