Abstract

That the birth of a disabled child in the family has a tremendous impact and necessary psychological, social, and economic, and therefore require state institutions and civil society, that lend a hand in providing the best ways to get out of the problems of disability, and a special program cares affairs with disabilities own (mental and motor and auditory and theoretical) and their families in the delivery of humanitarian services including: educational, educational, health, psychological, social and religious. The discovery of mental disability of the child beginning of a series of the psychological pressure of parents in general, and children in particular, have extravagant treatment parents to pamper the child compensated for what he had lost and what suffering from difficulties mentality, or in the use of cruelty and intensity with the child to vent their anger and grief.

Goal curriculum for individuals with intellectual disabilities is life skills simple so that it is able to serve himself, relying on the same able to meet its requirements personal independence fully or partially according to the abilities and skills of mental and physical and physical, integrated socially not suffering from any behavioral problems.

Curriculum for special needs not be placed in advance, but there are broad lines that represent an educational content year, based on measuring the level of the current performance of the multi-disciplinary team, in contrast, we find that such actions in the Arab countries in general and Yemen, in particular, do not find the required attention only in very narrow limits, leading to a state of constant trauma and make an individual feel insecure and low values of the self, and this affects the appreciation and awareness in the face of life and self-esteem.

The vision researchers work on a research study to determine the impact of intellectual disability on the self-esteem of a sample of mentally handicapped children in (Rahma in Aden) and the 40 disabled child minds, including 25 males 15 females. And find out their problems and get to the outputs of rehabilitation programs in the treatment centers.
