BARRIERS TO COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ADEN FROM ITS ACADEMIC LEADERSHIP POINT OF VIEW

The study mainly aimed to know the barriers to community partnership at the University of Aden from the point of view of its academic leadership, as well as identifying the impact of the study variables (qualification, job, years of experience) on the views of academic leaders at the University of Aden on the subject of the study, and knowing the differences between the answers of the study community members, regarding the subject of the study that attributed to the variables (qualification, job, years of experience).
The study is based on a questionnaire designed by the researcher and arbitrated by a group of arbitrators. After verifying the validity and reliability of the tool, it has been applied. Its final form contained (32) items distributed over four sections. (119) copies of the questionnaire were distributed to all (119) academic leaders at the University of Aden (distributed to the office of the Presidency of the University and its affiliated colleges and educational centers).
The research follows the descriptive analytical survey approach and statistical treatments. The SPSS statistical program is used to analyze the data related to the axes of the study, and the appropriate statistical tools in processing and drawing conclusions.
In light of the results of the current study, the researcher concludes the following:
- The level of community partnership obstacles at the University of Aden, according to the point of view of its academic leaders, was to a (significant) degree, through the level of the general assessment of the fields, which reached a general arithmetic mean (3.93), that is, with a weight percentage (78.6%), and a standard deviation of (0.506).
- There are no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α = (0.05) between the opinions of the study community members about the barriers to community partnership at the University of Aden due to the variables (job, scientific title, years of experience), as the (F) values calculated in the overall scale indicate (1.614) as less than the tabular value (F) (2.758).
