This research seeks to study the structure of the contemplative discourse in the Arabic romantic and mystical poetry in the modern era, and identifies the problematic areas in which many scholars fell without differentiating between the refusal of contemplation in the two poetic experiences, and then clarifies the features of his poetry in each experiment in the sample texts under investigation.
The research came in a structure consisting of an entrance showing the concept of meditation, and two sections: the first section deals with the poetry of meditation in the romantic text, and the second topic deals with the poetry of meditation in the mystical text. The romantic and mystical text, and its clear manifestations in the course of each of the two experiences, the contemplation according to which its features became clear, its characteristics and the elements of its poetry became clear, and the research ended with several results, most notably: Meditation on both romantic and mystical poetry has its content themes and manifestations. The artist, in his contemplative tendency in the romantic experience, was able to establish his contemplative poetry according to the premises of the subjects authority and its substantive hegemony, living the dialectical conflict between good and evil, alienating the self in front of the power of its reality, the strength of his authority, and escaping from it to the world of nature as an alternative world. It contains the suffering of the self, and secures its tragedy. While the poet, in his contemplative approach to the mystical experience, bases that poetry on the path of the authority of the title, the effectiveness of the self, and its ability to ascend to its mystical world, and walk the poetic experience according to the levels of vision that begins with abandoning its real world, then solutions, unity and identification with her spiritual world, to the actual manifestations of that mystical truth.
