Abstract

The study aimed to identify the extent to which faculty members at Omdurman Islamic University in the Faculty of Sharia and Law are aware of the dimensions of the culture of quality and academic accreditation, The study used the descriptive approach in addressing its subject and reaching its objectives, It relied on the questionnaire as a tool for collecting data from the sample of 50 faculty members This is to find out their point of view on the importance of the expressions included in the questionnaire that represent the culture of quality and academic accreditation. Then the study found that the results of the study matched all the hypotheses. That there is no statistically significant effect at the level of significance 0.05 in the perception of the faculty members of the Faculty of Sharia and Law of the dimensions of the culture of quality and academic accreditation according to the variable (gender, age, academic position, and years of experience). The results of the study also revealed that there is a convergence in the levels of awareness among faculty members of the dimensions of the culture of quality and academic accreditation, In the first place came the (behavioral dimension) with an arithmetic mean of (4.10), then in the second place came the (scientific research dimension) with an average of (4.08). Then in the third rank (the cognitive dimension) with an arithmetic average of (4.02), then in the fourth rank (the organizational dimension) with an arithmetic mean of (4.01), and the last rank (the dimension of community participation) with an arithmetic mean of,(3,92) In general, it turns out that the level of awareness of the faculty members of the dimensions of the culture of quality and academic accreditation at the Faculty of Sharia and Law at Omdurman Islamic University from the point of view of the study sample was high. The study concluded with the most important recommendations. The need to change prevailing organizational principles, values, habits and beliefs.
