WAYS OF COMMUNICATION BETWEEN THE HEJAZ AND YEMEN AND THE FACTORS AFFECTING IT IN THE ERA OF THE RASULID DYNASTY (626-858H/1229-1454AD)

The communication between The Hejaz and Yemen is as old as the trade and the twists of living and economic conditions in the life of man who seeks life stability and a better life when he faces life hardships, other than that, the communication between The Hejaz and Yemen extends to culture and science communication; which has attracted more immigration for trade and scientific interests. Likewise, the position of The Hejaz and its proximity to Yemen has deepened the bond between the two, and for the religious position of The Hejaz, it has faced several military campaigns. The Rasulid Dynasty has carried nine military campaigns to take control over The Hejaz during (626-858H/1454-1229AD). These campaigns had their advantages and disadvantages. This research has revealed the most important advantages, represented in the establishments of religious and scientific centers; as these campaigns have carried some of the scientists and knowledge seekers with it. After its stabilization, The Hejaz has become a destination for scientists: some of them have settled down in it after Hajj and Umrah, and some have headed for it for studies temporarily.
