Abstract

There is no disagreement between the ancient and modern grammarians about the position that Khalil bin Ahmed occupies in Arabic sciences in general and Arabic grammar in particular. Research displays that prestige. The main ide a presented by the research is that Al-Khalil is the founder of Arabic grammar. He created great works in the sciences of Arabic by which he transcended the first and second classes. In the light of that, Al-Khalil became - alone - the true founder of our Arabic grammar. Al-Khalil's grammatical efforts are scattered in the book attributed to Sibawayh. (Al-Kitab) is the book of al-Khalil ibn Ahmad, not the book of Sibawayh, in which al-Khalil's phonetic, morphological, and grammatical views are evident. This effort of al-Khalil made him the pioneer of Arabic sciences in general, and the founder of Arabic grammar. The search is a serious attempt to return the right to its owner. Isn't it enough that most of the book is the effort of Khalil bin Ahmed? Didn't Sibawayh say to his colleague: Let's salute the knowledge of Al-Khalil. Didn't he transfer his knowledge to his genius student Sibawayh? Sibawayh was honest in transmitting the knowledge of al-Khalil to successive generations. Doesn't Al-Khalil deserve to be the founder of Arabic grammar?
