This study aimed at analyzing of the Islamic Education course book of the ninth grade in Yemen in comparison with the Tunisian Islamic Education course book. In order to fulfill this aim, the researcher depended on the analytical descriptive approach, by using the style of qualitative comparison to analyze the structure of the Islamic Education course book of the ninth grade in Yemen and Tunisia, in order to compare the general book structure, and the lesson formation methodology. The study reached focused major conclusion on the Islamic Education course book for the basic ninth grade in Yemen, most important were: the lesson in the book is structured on the approach in the content, the lesson is presented by relating the information, and there are no clear stages to structure the lesson in the school book. The study presented recommendations, the most important are: the Islamic Education course book is to be written according to an effective educational methodology that based on the learner to build his knowledge, and that the lessons of Islamic Education to be planned on clear stages containing the following: my learning objectives, revising my knowledge, observing and inquiring, discovering, concluding, applying and evaluating my learning.
