The study aims to build a comprehensive database of morphometric properties in the Silat Bella watershed, a tributary of the Tuban Valley in Lahij governorate, through analyzing the Digital Elevation Model (DEM) using a set of Geographic Information System (GIS) software, specifically ArcGIS 10.8 and Hydrology, as a means of measuring morphometric variables and utilizing the water network of Silat Bella watershed in water harvesting. This is important due to the significance of water as a primary source for development and the water concerns due to the nature of Yemen's climate in general, and the study area in particular as well as the difficulty of water availability in the right quantity and quality. Therefore, the study emphasizes the importance of using modern scientific methods in different water uses and optimizing them. As a result, the study suggests establishing several water harvesting techniques in various locations of the study area, including measures to prevent environmental damage.
