COINED EXPRESSIONS IN THE AZARIQ LANGUAGE (AL-DHALEA GOVERNORATE)

Abstract

This research dealt with coined expressions in the dialect of Al-Azariq District, Al-Dhalea Governorate, by benefiting from recent linguistic studies that dealt with coined expressions, which helps monitor the phenomenon of coined expression in the dialect and study it according to the descriptive and analytical approach, and trace its spoken manifestations and uses in their social and cultural contexts. This research consisted of an introduction and preface, then two sections: The first section dealt with the theoretical aspect of defining the term coined expressions, its synonyms and similarities, and the second section dealt with the applied aspect and studied examples of coined expressions in the dialect of the Azariq District. Then a conclusion with the most important results.
