Abstract

The purpose of this study was to explore the perceptions of MA students regarding the factors that affect the MA Applied Linguistics Program at the Faculty of Education- Aden, University of Aden, Yemen. Specifically, the study focused on the faculty, supervisors, and collaboration between departments of higher education within the country's universities. Data was collected from 30 MA students enrolled in the MA program in Applied Linguistics. The findings revealed that the MA Degree is highly influenced by many factors. Among the factors found are access to digital resources, the internet, and well-equipped libraries. The study provided suggestions and recommendations that could be put forth to the quality assurance and given urgent attention to improve the quality of the program.
